The National Conference is being organised by the Legal Aid Clinic & Pro-Bono Club of the School of Law, Justice & Governance, Gautam Buddha University, in collaboration with Jotwani Associates, a New Delhi-based law firm.
The Legal Aid Clinic promotes access to justice, legal awareness and social responsibility through legal aid and pro bono initiatives. The School of Law, Justice & Governance encourages interdisciplinary legal research and experiential learning, while Jotwani Associates works across areas including intellectual property rights, corporate law, litigation, cyber law and government relations and policy. <Cite refs={["turn151279view0"]}/>
The conference, titled “Intellectual Property Rights: Innovation, Access and Society,” aims to provide an academic platform for discussing contemporary developments in intellectual property law and policy.
The conference will explore the relationship between IP protection, innovation, access to knowledge and medicines, emerging technologies, public interest and social justice. It will also consider legal reforms, enforcement mechanisms, technology transfer, digital piracy and the protection of traditional knowledge. <Cite refs={["turn151279view0"]}/>
The conference invites original research that critically examines how intellectual property law can support innovation while addressing concerns surrounding equitable access, technological development and community rights.

Authors must follow the prescribed requirements when preparing their abstracts and full papers:
Abstract length: 300–500 words.
Formatting: Microsoft Word, Times New Roman, 12-point font and 1.5 line spacing.
Required abstract contents: Research objectives, methodology, data sources and keywords.
Cover page: Must include the paper title, author’s name, institutional affiliation, email address and phone number.
Originality: Submissions must be original and unpublished.
Plagiarism limit: Below 10%.
Citation style: Any uniform citation style may be followed.
AI policy: AI-generated content will not be accepted.

The registration fee is non-refundable and includes a conference kit, high tea, lunch and a participation or presentation certificate, as applicable. Accommodation charges are not included.
