With the enactment of the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, India has entered a new era of privacy regulation. Lawyers, policy researchers, compliance professionals, and technology practitioners are increasingly required to understand privacy rights, regulatory obligations, and the legal challenges emerging from the digital economy.
Through six live academic sessions, participants will explore the constitutional foundations of privacy, the legislative journey leading to the DPDPA, the architecture of the statute, enforcement mechanisms, global privacy frameworks, and emerging questions in AI governance.
