The global energy sector is undergoing an unprecedented transformation driven by climate change, technological innovation, geopolitical realignments, and the urgent need to ensure energy security. The International Conference on Energy Sustainability in a Global Era: Law, Technology and International Relations (IC-ESG 2027), organized by the Centre for Energy Law, Policy and Sustainability (CELPS) and the Centre for Sustainable Development and Climate Change at Bennett University's School of Law, provides an interdisciplinary platform to deliberate upon the evolving landscape of energy law and governance.
As India pursues its vision of Viksit Bharat 2047 and its commitments towards net-zero emissions, this conference critically examines contemporary developments across the entire energy spectrum, including electricity regulation, coal and mining governance, petroleum, nuclear energy, renewable energy, and emerging green technologies.

Abstract Submission Deadline: 30th August 2026
Notification of Acceptance: Within 15 days of submission
Full Paper Submission Deadline: 30th October 2026
Conference Dates: 22nd - 23rd January 2027
Selected papers will be published in SCOPUS Indexed Conference Proceedings or a Special Issue of a SCOPUS Indexed Journal. Other selected manuscripts will be featured in publications by esteemed academic publishers.
Participation is open to undergraduate and postgraduate students, research scholars, academicians, legal practitioners, policymakers, and industry experts from law and other social science streams.
Submissions must include an abstract not exceeding 800 words. Co-authorship is allowed up to a maximum of three authors. The similarity index must be less than 10%.
Registration Fees:
Students: Single Authorship: INR 500 | Co-Authorship: INR 1000
Research Scholars: Single Authorship: INR 1000 | Co-Authorship: INR 1500
International Participants: Single Authorship: USD 50 | Co-Authorship: USD 40 each
