About Ab Initio Legal
Established in 2016, Ab Initio Legal is a full-service law firm based in New Delhi, with associate offices across India. The firm represents corporate clients and individuals before various judicial and quasi-judicial forums across the country.
Its practice areas include commercial and corporate litigation, domestic and international arbitration, insolvency and bankruptcy, Delhi High Court matters, civil and criminal trials, white-collar and blue-collar crimes, consumer litigation, and writs, appeals and Special Leave Petitions before the Supreme Court of India.
About the Internship
Ab Initio Legal is inviting applications from law students interested in gaining hands-on experience in litigation and arbitration. Selected interns will work with the firm's Partners and Associates on matters handled before courts and tribunals.
The internship offers exposure to active litigation practice and the opportunity to understand legal research, drafting, court proceedings and case preparation.
Eligibility Criteria
The internship is open to:
Students in the 5th year of a five-year integrated law programme.
Students in the 3rd year of a three-year LL.B. programme.
Roles and Responsibilities
Selected interns may assist with:
Conducting legal research and preparing drafts.
Assisting during court proceedings.
Participating in case strategy discussions.
Preparing briefs and supporting case preparation.
Managing legal files and related documentation.

Duration
The internship will be conducted during November and December 2026.

Stipend
Selected interns will receive a stipend of ₹5,000.
