Accentures Legal and Compliance team is hiring an Ethics and Compliance Data Privacy Specialist (Ref 183127) in Bengaluru to manage global and regional data privacy assessments and compliance initiatives.
Key Responsibilities / Competition Scope
- Conduct data privacy reviews, country risk assessments, and Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs) to ensure compliance with privacy regulations.
- Draft, design, and optimize compliance processes and templates to operationalize data privacy laws.
- Support Ventures & Acquisitions due diligence activities, individual rights requests, and regulatory inquiries.
- Draft, review, and assist in negotiating data privacy schedules for contractual arrangements.
- Monitor global legal developments and regulatory changes in data privacy laws, analyzing their impact on Accenture business operations.
- Coordinate with senior data privacy counsels, business stakeholders, and external counsels.
- Develop internal training materials on data privacy processes and serve as Tier 1 support for privacy inquiries.
Eligibility & Qualifications
- Background in Legal, Regulatory Compliance, or Ethics & Compliance with a focus on Data Privacy laws.
- Strong understanding of statutory privacy regulations, CORE (Compliance, Operations, Regulatory & Ethics) frameworks, and risk management.
- Demonstrated experience in process management, DPIAs, contractual privacy schedules, and policy administration.
- Strong research, analytical, collaborative, and stakeholder-management skills.
