About the Opportunity / Organizer
Adv. Ankita Phadke & Associates is a premier litigation-focused law firm situated in the historic legal hub of Fort, Mumbai. The firm handles complex matrimonial, criminal, and corporate litigation matters. Interns are offered intensive, courtroom-oriented training through hands-on participation in live proceedings, trial strategy formulation, and dedicated advocate mentorship.
Key Responsibilities / Role Scope
Interns will gain direct practical exposure to real and ongoing legal matters across various courts in Mumbai. Core responsibilities include:
Conducting comprehensive legal research and preparing initial case drafts.
Assisting advocates with litigation strategy and court filing procedures.
Attending court hearings, client conferences, and observing proceedings across multiple courts in Mumbai.
Completing research briefs and assigned tasks accurately within specified deadlines.
Maintaining absolute professional conduct, punctuality, and confidentiality.
Eligibility & Qualifications
Students in their 3rd, 4th, or 5th year of a 5-year integrated law course.
Students in their 2nd or 3rd year of a 3-year LL.B. course.
A genuine interest in matrimonial and family law practice is highly desirable.
Demonstrated commitment, strong work ethic, punctuality, and professional integrity.
Stipend, Duration & Perks
Stipend: Paid internship (details communicated during selection).
Duration: Minimum 3 months (long-term commitment).
Mode: In-office (Fort, Mumbai).
Start Date: October 15, 2026.
