About the Opportunity
Advokey AI is offering a remote Legal Research Internship for a duration of 4 to 6 months. As an intern, you will contribute directly toward building India’s first AI-driven legal education ecosystem. Working closely with content, product, and AI development teams, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the legal accuracy, depth, and usability of the research powering the platform.
Role & Key Responsibilities
Conduct in-depth research on statutory provisions, judicial precedents, and legal principles across Indian and comparative jurisdictions.
Draft concise case briefs, issue notes, and structured argument frameworks for inclusion within the Advokey AI ecosystem.
Assist in designing competitive moot court problem statements and interactive challenge questions.
Collaborate cross-functionally with AI and engineering teams to audit and validate the accuracy of AI-generated legal outputs.
Support the content vertical in developing modules for interactive legal learning.
Monitor recent judgments, statutory amendments, and regulatory/policy changes to ensure platform content remains up to date.
Eligibility & Qualifications
Current law students in their 3rd year or above of a 5-year integrated law program, or 2nd year and above of a 3-year LL.B. program from a recognized law school.
Demonstrated expertise in legal research, analysis, and drafting.
Keen interest in moot court competitions, academic writing, and emerging legal disciplines (such as AI & Law, Tech Law, ESG, etc.).
Prior experience in legal research internships, moot court drafting, or published academic work is an added advantage.
