About the Opportunity & Organizer
The Association of Indian Students (AIS) is a national-level, non-political, voluntary student association committed to student welfare, empowering academic opportunities, and fostering student-led initiatives across India. AIS is inviting applications for its year-long national membership cohort across multiple functional teams.
Key Responsibilities & Role Scope
Selected members can contribute across various specialized departments based on their skills and interest:
- Social Media Member: Assist with digital strategy, media campaigns, student engagement, and content creation.
- Research Member: Conduct in-depth research on student welfare, higher education policies, and educational opportunities.
- Campus Outreach / Ambassador: Facilitate institutional partnerships, represent AIS across college campuses, and expand student networks.
- General & Operations Member: Coordinate organizational workflows, handle internal administration, and manage event logistics.
- Volunteer Member: Support ongoing student-centric activities and initiatives on an execution level.
Eligibility & Qualifications
- Currently enrolled students in any undergraduate, postgraduate, or professional degree program at a recognized college or university in India.
- Students from all academic disciplines (Law, Humanities, Science, Commerce, Engineering, etc.) are eligible.
- Prior professional experience is not mandatory. Candidates must demonstrate high commitment and enthusiasm for student welfare initiatives.
Stipend, Perks & Benefits
- Stipend: Unpaid / Voluntary Membership.
- Certificate of Membership: Provided upon successful completion of the tenure.
- Letter of Recommendation (LOR): Awarded based on exceptional performance and contribution.
