About the Opportunity
This internship is designed to immerse budding legal professionals in the day-to-day realities of active litigation and advisory work. Interns will work closely with seasoned practitioners across a diverse range of critical practice areas, including Banking & Finance, Insurance, Commercial Litigation, Arbitration, and Civil Disputes.
Key Responsibilities
- Legal Research & Analysis: Conduct in-depth research on complex statutory frameworks, case laws, precedents, and procedural nuances across commercial statutes.
- Pleadings & Drafting: Assist counsel in drafting legal notices, plaints, written statements, writ petitions, rejoinders, and miscellaneous applications.
- Court Assistance: Accompany advocates to court proceedings, observe trial and appellate tactics, track case listings, and prepare daily court briefing notes.
- Case File Management: Assist with compiling case briefs, document discovery, compiling compilation sets for arguments, and overall case strategy preparation.
Candidate Profile & Eligibility
- Enrolled in a recognized 3-year or 5-year LL.B. degree program.
- Demonstrated keen interest in dispute resolution, banking & financial laws, and commercial litigation.
- Strong foundational understanding of procedural codes (CPC, CrPC) and substantive commercial laws.
- Meticulous attention to detail with excellent research, analytical, and draftsmanship abilities.
- High degree of professionalism, proactive attitude, and ability to thrive in collaborative and fast-paced environments.
