About the Opportunity / Organizer
Burnished Law Journal is a student-led legal publication that creates opportunities for law students across India to engage with legal research, academic writing, legal developments, and digital legal communication. The Journal invites applications from law students for 10 remote internship positions across research and social media roles.
Key Responsibilities / Internship Scope
Applicants may apply for one of two distinct tracks based on their interest:
- Social Media Intern (5 Positions): Assist with planning and executing social media content, develop content around legal developments and Journal initiatives, support social media campaigns, maintain content calendars, and drive audience engagement.
- Research Intern (5 Positions): Conduct legal research on assigned topics, track recent judicial precedents, legislation, and legal news, prepare research-based write-ups, support editorial verification, and assist with source fact-checking.
Eligibility & Qualifications
- Students currently enrolled in law colleges or universities in India.
- Students from any year of study (5-year or 3-year LL.B.) are eligible to apply.
- Demonstrated interest in legal research, academic writing, digital communication, or publishing.
- Prior experience is not mandatory.
Stipend, Perks & Awards
- Stipend: Unpaid position.
- Certificate: Official Certificate of Internship upon successful completion.
- Perks: Letter of Recommendation based on outstanding performance, networking opportunities, and practical exposure to legal publishing processes.
