About the Role
Are you an ambitious legal professional driven to excel in high-stakes litigation at the highest level of the Indian judicial system? The Chambers of Adv. Anuj Bhandari, Advocate-on-Record (AOR) at the Supreme Court of India, is seeking a motivated and meticulous Junior Associate to join their core litigation team in New Delhi.
This role offers invaluable hands-on exposure to Supreme Court practice, key appellate advocacy, comprehensive legal research, and complex drafting across diverse commercial and civil legal matters.
Key Responsibilities
- Supreme Court Practice: Assist in preparing, filing, and managing matters before the Supreme Court of India and other judicial forums across Delhi.
- Legal Research: Conduct in-depth research on complex legal questions, case laws, statutory provisions, and regulatory frameworks.
- Drafting Pleadings: Draft Special Leave Petitions (SLPs), writ petitions, counter-affidavits, applications, legal notices, and case briefs.
- Court Appearances & Strategy: Attend court hearings, assist senior counsel in court proceedings, and contribute to strategy sessions for diverse litigation matters.
Eligibility & Candidate Profile
- Must be a law graduate registered with the Bar Council.
- Demonstrated passion for litigation and court practice.
- Highly motivated, diligent, detail-oriented, and proactive.
- Prior experience or legal internships focused on litigation, research, and drafting will be strongly preferred.
