About the Opportunity
Interning at the High Court offers law students an unmatched vantage point into the judicial decision-making process. Selected candidates will work closely with the judicial team, assisting in comprehensive legal research, analyzing complex statutory provisions, and drafting case notes for ongoing matters before the court.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct deep-dive research on diverse legal issues including Constitutional Law, Civil Disputes, Criminal Law, and Intellectual Property Rights.
- Prepare brief notes, bench memos, and summaries of pleadings for daily cause lists.
- Observe court proceedings firsthand to understand appellate advocacy, legal strategy, and judicial procedure.
- Assist in managing case files and organizing legal precedents relevant to active court matters.
Eligibility Criteria
- 5-Year LL.B. Course: Preference will be given to students in their 3rd year or above.
- 3-Year LL.B. Course: Preference will be given to students in their 2nd year or above.
- Strong research capabilities, clear written communication skills, and a solid understanding of procedural laws are essential.
