Key Responsibilities / Competition Scope
As a Data Privacy Specialist at Coforge, key responsibilities include:
- Provide data privacy and compliance guidance to internal stakeholders and manage operational privacy activities.
- Develop, review, and update Data Privacy/Data Protection policies, procedures, and related documentation.
- Review customer and vendor contracts for privacy and data protection clauses.
- Respond to RFPs and client queries related to data protection and privacy requirements.
- Initiate and support privacy assessments in collaboration with business stakeholders.
- Review privacy incidents and recommend appropriate corrective and remediation actions.
- Conduct privacy compliance testing, risk assessments, internal audits, and monitoring activities.
- Identify privacy and data protection risks and support the development and tracking of mitigation plans.
- Review findings from external audits and ensure appropriate closure of identified gaps.
Eligibility & Qualifications
- Experience: 5–7 years of overall experience, with at least 3+ years of dedicated hands-on experience in Data Privacy.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Technology, Law, or a related discipline.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Strong practical understanding of EU GDPR, UK GDPR, CCPA, CPRA, and other applicable global privacy frameworks.
- Certifications: At least one relevant privacy certification such as CIPP/E, CIPM, CIPT, or equivalent.
- Skills: Experience in contract review, compliance testing, privacy management software, and stakeholder management.
