Key Responsibilities
Working within Deloitte's specialized Cyber Team, the Senior Analyst (Data Privacy) will collaborate with internal teams and external clients to implement robust data protection and privacy compliance frameworks. Core duties include:
- Developing comprehensive data protection policies and procedures in alignment with domestic and global privacy laws.
- Conducting privacy risk assessments to identify potential data protection vulnerabilities and implementing tailored mitigation strategies.
- Monitoring and evaluating data processing activities to ensure continuous compliance with data protection laws and corporate governance standards.
- Providing strategic guidance to clients on Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs), data governance, and privacy risk mitigation.
- Designing, building, and refining tailored security and privacy frameworks.
- Redesigning operational processes and privacy controls to reinforce compliance infrastructure.
- Cultivating and managing strong relationships with multi-disciplinary teams and enterprise clients.
Eligibility & Criteria
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B.), Information Technology, or a closely related field.
- Experience: Minimum 1+ years of experience in data protection, privacy compliance, or regulatory advisory.
- Subject Expertise: In-depth knowledge of data protection laws and regulations, particularly India's Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) framework and global privacy standards.
- Skills: Exceptional analytical, technical, and strategic problem-solving capabilities.
- Certifications: Professional privacy certifications such as CIPT, CIPM, or CIPP/E are highly preferred.
