Role Overview
BHASHINI is seeking a driven, detail-oriented legal professional for the position of Young Professional (Legal). This role is ideal for legal practitioners with at least one year of post-qualification experience who thrive at the intersection of regulatory compliance, contract life-cycle management, and public policy advisory.
Key Responsibilities
- Legal Advisory: Provide day-to-day legal counsel on regulatory matters, technology law, and public sector governance initiatives.
- Contract Management & Drafting: Draft, review, and negotiate complex agreements, Memorandum of Understanding (MoUs), non-disclosure agreements, and service provider contracts.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure full alignment with government notifications, IT laws, data protection standard operating procedures, and statutory directives.
- Legal Research: Conduct in-depth legal research on emerging tech regulatory frameworks, IP rights, and public procurement frameworks.
Eligibility & Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B.) from a recognised university in India. An LL.M. or specialised legal certifications in Cyber Law, Intellectual Property, or Corporate Law is highly preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of post-qualification experience in legal advisory, contract drafting, and regulatory affairs.
- Skills: Strong drafting acumen, research proficiency, legal analytical capabilities, and thorough understanding of Indian contract and statutory law.
Remuneration & Terms
- Monthly Stipend/Remuneration: ₹50,000/- per month (inclusive of all allowances, subject to TDS and statutory deductions as per the Income Tax Act).
- Vacancies: 1 Position.
