General Icentral is inviting applications from ambitious legal professionals for a specialized role in Motor Third-Party Claims, MACT matters, and Insurance Litigation based in Kolkata. This role provides an outstanding platform to gain hands-on expertise in insurance law, claim management, trial strategy, and stakeholder coordination.
Key Responsibilities / Job Scope
- Handle and monitor MACT claim matters while tracking litigation proceedings and court awards.
- Liaise extensively with panel advocates, legal counsel, and internal stakeholders.
- Review legal pleadings, evidence, investigation reports, and written statements.
- Analyse liability exposure and identify robust defense strategies for complex claims.
- Assist in overall claim assessment, strategic negotiations, and dispute settlements.
- Maintain systematic case records and ensure timely follow-ups across all active litigation matters.
Eligibility & Qualifications
- Educational Qualification: LL.B. or LL.M. degree from a recognized institution.
- Experience: 0–3 years of experience in Legal, Motor Third-Party Claims, or MACT Litigation.
- Strong interest in Insurance Law and litigation practice; practical understanding of Motor Accident Claims is highly advantageous.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management abilities.
