Role Overview & Responsibilities
As an integral member of the Litigation Practice, you will work closely with senior advocates and partners on a diverse docket of contentious matters. Your core responsibilities will include:
- Conducting comprehensive legal research on complex statutory provisions, precedents, and procedural laws.
- Drafting high-quality pleadings, plaints, written statements, writ petitions, applications, and legal notices.
- Liaising with clients, briefing senior counsels, and assisting in trial strategy development.
- Appearing before various courts, tribunals, and judicial authorities across Karnataka.
- Engaging with local registry procedures and handling drafting and filings requiring fluency in Kannada.
Who We Are Looking For
- Experience: 0 to 2 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) exclusively or predominantly in litigation. Fresh law graduates with strong litigation-focused internships and a passion for the bar are encouraged to apply.
- Language Proficiency: Fluency and professional proficiency in Kannada (spoken and written) is required for effective local trial advocacy and client interactions.
- Core Skills: Exceptional analytical rigor, meticulous drafting capability, and persuasive oral communication skills.
