About the Opportunity
Kia India is inviting applications for a senior legal role based in Bengaluru. The position involves handling litigation, contract management, customs-related matters, and providing legal advisory for manufacturing and sales operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle consumer, IPR, property, recovery, and related litigation matters.
- Coordinate with external lawyers and legal counsel for effective case management and reporting.
- Draft, review, and negotiate various corporate and commercial contracts.
- Manage customs law and DRI-related investigations.
- Provide actionable legal opinions on manufacturing and sales-related matters.
Eligibility & Qualifications
- 8–14 years of relevant post-qualification experience.
- Prior experience in customs litigation and consumer litigation is required.
- Fluency in English and the local language.
- Willingness to travel on short notice and relocate anywhere in India as required.
