About the Opportunity / Organizer
K&S Partners is a leading intellectual property law firm in India providing a full suite of IP management and litigation services to clients worldwide, including Fortune 500 companies. Recognized nationally and internationally for its deep domain expertise, the firm is inviting applications for the role of Associate within its Litigation Team in Gurgaon.
Key Responsibilities / Competition Scope
- Draft pleadings, legal notices, evidence affidavits, written submissions, and client correspondence.
- Handle complex matters involving trademark litigation before District Courts and High Courts.
- Communicate effectively and confidently with clients and colleagues regarding case strategy and progression.
Eligibility & Qualifications
- Experience: 4 to 10 years of experience in IP litigation with recognized IP law firms and boutiques in NCR.
- Domain Focus: Demonstrated exposure to trademark litigation before District Courts and High Courts.
- Academics: Law graduate from a reputed law school with a consistent, strong academic record.
- Internship Record: Minimum 5 internships during law school, with at least 2 in the IP domain (preferably with leading IP firms).
- Publications: Authored or co-authored articles published in legal journals, industry publications, reputed blogs, newsletters, or similar platforms.
- Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, presentable, polished, ambitious, and committed to building a long-term litigation practice.
