About the Legal Internship
Lexlabs is inviting applications for a legal internship commencing from 4 October 2026.
The internship is intended for law students interested in gaining practical legal experience. Interns are expected to be proactive, willing to learn, take ownership of assigned work and contribute meaningfully to matters handled by the firm.
Eligibility
The internship is open to:
Law students currently in their 3rd year or above of a 5-year integrated law course.
Students at the equivalent level in a 3-year LL.B. programme may also apply.
Candidates who are eager to learn, proactive and responsible.
Candidates willing to take ownership of assigned work.
Candidates who can complete assigned tasks within stipulated timelines.
Internship Responsibilities
Selected interns will be involved in:
Conducting legal research.
Assisting with legal drafting, document review and vetting.
Assisting with ongoing legal matters.
Attending court visits, appearances and proceedings.
Visiting relevant authorities, where required.
Understanding the practical and market aspects of legal work.
Duration
The internship will be for a minimum of one month, with the possibility of extension depending on the intern's work and performance.
