M.C. Kochhar & Associates is a premier New Delhi-based boutique dispute resolution and advisory law firm established in 1990 by M.C. Kochhar. The firm brings over three decades of litigation excellence, specializing in civil and commercial litigation, criminal matters, corporate advisory, and arbitration. The firm regularly represents high-profile individual and corporate clientele before diverse judicial forums, High Courts, and tribunals across India.
The firm is currently inviting applications for its physical Legal Internship Program for the months of October and November 2026, offering students immersive, realistic exposure to court practice and high-stakes dispute resolution.
Key Responsibilities / Role Scope
- In-Depth Legal Research: Conducting targeted case law research across civil, commercial, criminal, and arbitration statutes.
- Drafting & Pleadings: Assisting in drafting notices, plaints, written statements, affidavits, petitions, and legal opinions.
- Case Briefing & Preparation: Reviewing case documents, compiling case files, synthesizing matter briefs, and preparing notes for senior advocates.
- Court-Related Exposure: Attending proceedings before various courts and tribunals across Delhi NCR to observe live advocacy and litigation procedures.
- Hands-on Live Matters: Actively engaging in live disputes and arbitration proceedings to understand daily operations in an active litigation chamber.
Eligibility & Qualifications
- Students in their 4th or 5th year of a 5-year Integrated Law Degree (B.A. LL.B. / B.B.A. LL.B.).
- Students in their 3rd year of a 3-year LL.B. program.
- Candidates who demonstrate strong drafting, research, and analytical skills.
- Immediate Joiners: Candidates available to join immediately for the October tenure will be given strong preference.
