Mohta & Associates, Advocates is inviting applications from motivated law students and young law graduates for the position of Law Intern at their office in Kolkata. This in-person internship provides hands-on practical learning, direct exposure to court proceedings, and structured mentorship in daily litigation practice near Bankshall Court.
Key Responsibilities / Competition Scope
- Conduct comprehensive legal research on statutory provisions and case laws.
- Assist in drafting pleadings, applications, legal notices, and client correspondence.
- Gain practical court and litigation exposure by attending judicial proceedings.
- Experience the day-to-day operations and management of an active legal practice.
Eligibility & Qualifications
- 3rd year and above law students (5-year or 3-year LL.B. course).
- Law graduates of the batch of 2026.
- Young legal professionals with 0 to 1 years of PQE.
- Must be Kolkata-based candidates capable of working from the office.
- Prior internship experience is appreciated, but not mandatory.
- Highly motivated, enthusiastic, and eager to learn litigation skills.
