About the Opportunity
Nirka Law Advisory is inviting applications from qualified legal professionals for the position of Associate based in New Delhi. The selected candidate will focus primarily on construction and infrastructure disputes, arbitration, litigation, contract management, and general legal advisory.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in drafting pleadings, legal notices, claims, replies, and submissions.
- Conduct thorough legal research on issues relating to contracts, construction, and commercial disputes.
- Assist senior attorneys in handling ongoing arbitration and litigation proceedings.
- Review, scrutinize, and analyze construction and commercial contracts.
- Prepare comprehensive case chronologies, briefs, evidence summaries, and claim documentation.
- Support senior team members during client conferences, court/arbitral hearings, and dispute strategy sessions.
Eligibility & Qualifications
- Experience: 1–2 years of prior work experience.
- Strong legal research, drafting, and analytical skills.
- Solid understanding of commercial contracts and dispute resolution mechanisms.
- Prior experience in construction disputes or construction arbitration will be preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to independently manage assigned tasks and strictly adhere to timelines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong attention to detail.
