NTPC-SAIL Power Supply Company Limited (NSPCL) is a Premier Joint Venture Company of two Maharatnas - NTPC Limited and SAIL. NSPCL has its Business Units at three locations viz. Bhilai, Durgapur & Rourkela with a total installed capacity of 1119 MW. NSPCL supplies power to SAIL Units, Union Territory of Dadra & Nagar Haveli, Union Territory of Daman & Diu, and Chhattisgarh State. Further, NSPCL has also ventured into the renewable energy domain.
Key Responsibilities / Competition Scope
- Handling litigation matters.
- Drafting and vetting contracts and legal documents.
- Providing legal opinions.
- Handling arbitration and dispute resolution.
- Supporting statutory and regulatory compliance.
- Coordinating with advocates and regulatory authorities.
- Advising on legal matters.
Eligibility & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B. or equivalent) as a full-time degree from a recognised Indian university/institute.
- Minimum 60% marks in the law degree.
- Minimum 2 years of post-qualification, relevant experience in an organisation of repute.
- Experience in litigation handling, drafting and vetting contracts and legal documents, providing legal opinions, arbitration and dispute resolution, statutory and regulatory compliance, coordination with advocates and regulatory authorities, and advising on legal matters.
- Experience in the power, infrastructure, engineering, or manufacturing sector is desirable.
