About the Opportunity
NV Associates, in collaboration with the National Justice Network, is inviting applications for a Legal Journalism Internship focused on legal reporting, research and content development across broadcast media, social media and print media.
The opportunity is intended for candidates interested in the intersection of law, journalism, courts, governance and public affairs. Interns will have the opportunity to contribute to legal and judicial reporting, research projects and media content, subject to project requirements and applicable local laws.
About the Internship

Roles and Responsibilities
Selected interns may be involved in the following activities:
Researching and preparing reports on legal and judicial news.
Assisting with legal journalism and media research projects.
Developing content for broadcast, digital and social media platforms.
Writing news articles, reports and interviews.
Monitoring developments relating to courts, legislation, governance and public affairs.
Analysing court proceedings, judgments and significant legal developments.
Conducting background research to support legal and public affairs reporting.
Ensuring accuracy, verification and responsible presentation of information.
Eligibility Criteria
Applications are open to candidates from the following academic backgrounds:
Students or graduates pursuing or holding an LL.B., B.A. LL.B., B.B.A. LL.B. or LL.M. degree.
Students or graduates of Journalism and Mass Communication or Media Studies.
Students or graduates of Political Science, Public Administration, or Law and Governance.
Graduates with a demonstrated interest in courts, law, justice, governance and public affairs.
Candidates with strong research, writing and communication skills and an interest in legal reporting may find this opportunity relevant.
Internship Duration
The internship will run for one to three months.
