About the Opportunity
The office of Karn Deo Baghel is inviting applications for the position of Junior Associate at its litigation practice based in Jangpura Extension, New Delhi.
Role & Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive legal research and analysis using professional legal databases.
Interpret complex constitutional and statutory provisions.
Prepare clear, concise, and structured research briefs as well as detailed case summaries.
Draft various litigation pleadings, petitions, applications, and court documents.
Eligibility & Qualifications
A recognised law degree (LL.B.) and eligibility/enrolment to practise law in India.
Minimum 2 years of post-qualification litigation experience (2+ PQE).
Strong legal research, analytical, and structured drafting skills.
Familiarity with court practices, filing procedures, and the day-to-day functioning of the Supreme Court of India, High Courts, and various tribunals.
Prior experience or internships in appellate or constitutional litigation will be considered an advantage.
High professional integrity, keen attention to detail, excellent time management, and ability to handle strict court deadlines.
