The Office of Shri Maddila Gurumoorthy, Hon’ble Member of Parliament (Lok Sabha), is inviting ambitious, driven students and young professionals to apply for an intensive offline internship based in New Delhi. This opportunity offers a unique platform to bridge legal theory, political science, and high-impact legislative research.
Role Overview & Key Responsibilities
Interns will work closely with the parliamentary team to support legislative duties, research initiatives, and public interest governance projects. Key areas of contribution include:
- Parliamentary & Legislative Affairs: Gaining firsthand exposure to legislative drafting, parliamentary questions, debates, and policy discussions.
- In-Depth Research & Data Analysis: Conducting comprehensive secondary and empirical research on socio-economic issues, legal frameworks, and bill analyses.
- Policy Formulation: Assisting in designing actionable policy briefs, strategic memos, and developmental frameworks.
- Governance & Constituency Projects: Contributing to impactful initiatives aimed at effective governance and targeted regional development.
Eligibility Criteria
- Enrolled students or recent graduates from Law, Political Science, Economics, Public Policy, and allied interdisciplinary fields.
- Demonstrated proficiency in qualitative and quantitative research and data-driven analysis.
- Strong analytical mindset with a keen passion for public policy, lawmaking, and governance.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
