About the Internship
OnGrid is inviting applications for a Legal Intern to support its legal, contractual, compliance and regulatory functions.
The internship offers exposure to the legal requirements of a technology-driven business. The selected intern will work with leadership, commercial teams, product teams and external stakeholders on legal and business-related matters.
Roles and Responsibilities
Selected interns will be responsible for:
Supporting the Legal Team with contract management, legal research, documentation and compliance activities.
Assisting in drafting, reviewing and negotiating Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs), Service Agreements, Data Processing Agreements (DPAs) and other commercial contracts.
Maintaining contract documentation and correspondence.
Tracking contract renewals, extensions and closures.
Communicating contractual terms and legal positions to internal stakeholders and external parties.
Identifying and mitigating legal risks to protect the organisation against breaches and liabilities.
Supporting compliance with applicable laws, regulations and industry standards.
Monitoring legal and regulatory developments relevant to the business.
Researching applicable legislation, regulations, judicial precedents and regulatory updates.
Supporting contract negotiations and managing the complete contract lifecycle.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
A Bachelor’s degree in Law is mandatory.
Strong knowledge of commercial and corporate law.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail.
A self-driven and resourceful approach to work.
Ability to work independently.
Strong problem-solving and organisational skills.
Internship Mode and Location
Mode: Full-time, on-site
Location: Sector 54, Gurugram, Haryana
Working Days: Five days per week
Working Hours: 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
