About the Opportunity
This 3 to 4-month long-term internship is meticulously designed for law students who want to build a rock-solid foundation in commercial litigation. Interns will work directly alongside experienced practitioners on complex legal matters, gaining real-world exposure to case strategy, advanced legal drafting, and comprehensive legal research.
Key Responsibilities & Focus Areas
- Legal Research: Conduct thorough legal research on intricate points of commercial law, arbitration statutes, corporate disputes, and judicial precedents.
- Drafting: Assist in drafting court pleadings, legal notices, case notes, briefs, and written submissions.
- Case Briefing: Prepare concise case updates and briefs for ongoing litigation across various judicial forums.
- Strategy & Court Support: Gain first-hand exposure to dispute resolution strategies and observe court/arbitration proceedings where applicable.
Eligibility Criteria
- Exclusively open to 3rd and 4th-year law students pursuing their 5-year LL.B. or 2nd/3rd-year students in a 3-year LL.B. course.
- Demonstrated interest in Litigation and Commercial Dispute Resolution.
- Superior legal research, analytical thinking, and written communication skills.
Location & Duration
- Locations: Mumbai, Delhi, or Pune offices.
- Duration: 3 to 4 months (Long-Term Commitment).
