About the Job
SES is hiring a Legal Counsel to provide legal support across commercial transactions, contract negotiations, compliance, competition law, regulatory matters, and commercial projects.
Eligibility
Master’s degree or LL.M. in Law
Bar qualification would be an advantage
Strong computer literacy, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Fluency in written and spoken English is mandatory
Experience Required
Candidates with 3–5 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) in a law firm or corporate legal department are preferred. Experience in the telecommunications or media sector would be an advantage.
Key Responsibilities
The Legal Counsel will be responsible for:
Drafting, negotiating, and finalising contracts and tender responses
Ensuring compliance with applicable national and international laws
Conducting legal research and preparing legal memoranda
Advising on competition law and regulatory matters
Supporting transactional and commercial projects
Providing legal advice on contracts, bids, projects, and public-private partnerships
Working with internal and external stakeholders across different functions
