About the Internship
SKAY Partners is inviting applications from eligible law students for assessment internships commencing November 2026 onwards. The internship offers candidates an opportunity to gain practical exposure by working on live matters across the firm's litigation and non-litigation practices.
The assessment internship is suitable for students seeking to develop their legal research, drafting and analytical skills while gaining experience in professional legal practice.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
Be in the final year of a five-year integrated LL.B. programme or a three-year LL.B. programme.
Possess strong legal research and drafting skills.
Demonstrate attention to detail.
Have a keen interest in learning through live legal matters.
Available Profiles
Candidates may apply for either of the following profiles:
Litigation: Exposure to litigation-related work and legal matters.
Non-Litigation: Exposure to non-litigation legal work and advisory matters.
Roles and Responsibilities
Selected interns may assist with:
Legal research and case-law analysis.
Drafting and reviewing legal documents.
Research on ongoing legal matters.
Preparation of case briefs and research notes.
Assisting the legal team with assigned litigation or non-litigation work.
The specific responsibilities will depend on the team and matters assigned during the internship.

Minimum 3 months.
Internship Commencement
November 2026 onwards.

Mumbai, Maharashtra.
The internship is full-time and on-site, requiring interns to work from the firm's office.
