Solace Law Chambers is inviting applications for a dynamic Long-Term Legal Intern based out of their Jangpura, Delhi office. This role presents an exceptional opportunity to handle substantive matters before the Supreme Court of India, High Courts, District Courts, and various specialized Tribunals.
The Role & Key Responsibilities
Selected interns will be exposed to end-to-end disputes and courtroom strategy, including:
- Court Appearances & Briefing: Attending proceedings across the Supreme Court, Delhi High Court, Patiala House Courts, District Courts, and specialized Tribunals, ensuring proactive coordination and case readiness.
- Substantive Legal Drafting: Independently drafting petitions, applications, notices, and pleadings across both Civil and Criminal jurisdictions.
- Case Law Research: Conducting in-depth legal research and preparing comprehensive case briefs and proposition summaries for upcoming hearings.
- Chamber Practice: Managing chamber files, assisting during client conferences, and working directly with advocates on ongoing litigation strategy.
Eligibility & Candidate Profile
- Final-year law students: 5th-Year B.A. LL.B. or 3rd-Year LL.B. candidates.
- Demonstrated capability to draft legal pleadings independently.
- Solid foundational grasp of Civil and Criminal Law procedural codes and substantive provisions.
- Prior litigation internship or chamber experience is highly preferred.
- A professional, punctual, and highly responsible demeanor toward court administration and hearings.
Internship Details & Work Structure
- Location: Jangpura, Delhi (Physical / On-site).
- Working Schedule: Primarily 5 days a week, with Saturdays required depending on matter urgency and court listings.
- Probation & Stipend: The first 2 months serve as an evaluation/probation period. Stipend will be discussed during the interview process, with the final stipend confirmed upon completion of probation.
- Joining: Immediate.
