About the Opportunity / Organizer
Founded in 2019, Upscale Legal is a premier full-service corporate law firm headquartered in New Delhi. The firm regularly advises corporations, startup founders, financial institutions, and government bodies on strategic corporate transactions, public-private partnership (PPP) infrastructure projects, DPDPA compliance, tender management, and commercial disputes.
Key Responsibilities / Areas of Exposure
Interns at Upscale Legal will work directly on practical client-facing assignments and legal matters. Key practice areas and exposure include:
- Corporate & Commercial Law: Assisting in corporate advisory, contract drafting, and review.
- Legal Research & Drafting: Conducting in-depth statutory research and preparing legal notes and case briefs.
- Litigation & Dispute Resolution: Assisting in court filings, case preparation, and procedural compliance.
- Regulatory & Compliance: Gaining practical insight into POSH, DPDPA data privacy compliance, and labor/employment laws.
Eligibility & Qualifications
- Open exclusively to 3rd-year, 4th-year, and final-year law students pursuing 3-year or 5-year LL.B. courses.
- Strong legal research, analytical, and drafting skills.
- A proactive learning mindset and professional work ethic.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced law firm environment.
Stipend, Perks & Duration
- Duration: Full Month (October 2026).
- Mode & Location: Physical / Work-from-Office at Netaji Subhash Place (NSP), New Delhi.
