Vintage Legal is a legal academic and research-driven platform working in the field of open-access and selective legal publications. It provides academic materials, research support and curated legal resources aimed at strengthening students' and researchers' understanding of law.
The organisation works across multiple areas of law, including emerging and specialised legal domains, and maintains collaborations with universities, law chambers and law firms.
About the Internship
Vintage Legal is inviting applications for a training-cum-internship programme combining structured learning with hands-on legal research work.
The programme includes orientation and task-specific meetings, training in research methodology, citation, formatting and academic standards, weekly deadlines and regular virtual review meetings. Interns will also receive access to one free workshop as part of the programme.
Eligibility
The internship is open to:
Students pursuing a 5-year integrated LL.B. programme
Students pursuing a 3-year LL.B. programme
Students pursuing an LL.M.
Law students from all years
Nature of Work
Interns may be required to undertake:
Legal research relating to Intellectual Property Laws
Preparation of legal briefs
Writing research articles
Writing book chapters
Case analysis
Case summaries
Legal commentaries
Training and Learning Opportunities
The programme includes:
Orientation before assignments
Task-specific meetings
Training in legal research methodology
Training in citation and formatting
Guidance on academic standards
Weekly deadlines
Regular virtual review meetings
Feedback and research guidance
One free workshop to strengthen research and writing skills
Publication Opportunity
Interns may receive publication opportunities for quality and selected work.
However, publication is not automatic and will depend on the quality and selection of the work submitted.
Internship Certificate
Certificates will be issued strictly on the basis of performance and completion of assigned tasks in accordance with the prescribed standards.
A certificate is therefore not guaranteed to every participant.

The programme will commence with an orientation session on October 15, 2026.

The internship can be undertaken from anywhere.

Unpaid
The programme is described as a learning-based internship.
