About the Job
The company is inviting applications from experienced and proactive legal professionals for a litigation and claims management role in its Legal and Litigation Department. The role involves managing litigation and third-party claims across the Central and West Zones.
Key Responsibilities
Selected candidates will be responsible for:
Litigation and Claims Management: Managing end-to-end litigation and third-party claims for the Central and West Zones.
Panel Advocate Coordination: Liaising with and overseeing panel advocates to ensure quality legal representation.
Legal Document Review: Reviewing and approving written statements, affidavits, appeal memos, applications, objections and police complaints.
Case Monitoring: Monitoring case progress, processing judgments and ensuring timely legal action.
Performance Evaluation: Evaluating advocate performance and providing strategic recommendations to protect the organisation’s interests.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants should meet the following requirements:
Be an LL.B. graduate with substantial experience in litigation and claims management.
Have a strong understanding of civil and criminal litigation, court procedures and legal documentation.
Possess proven experience managing external counsel and handling complex legal matters.
Demonstrate excellent drafting, analytical, stakeholder management and negotiation skills.
Have strong leadership capabilities and the ability to manage multiple cases and teams effectively.
