About the Job

The firm is hiring a Senior Corporate Lawyer with 5+ years of experience to handle corporate and commercial transactions, draft and negotiate agreements, advise clients on regulatory compliance, and support corporate disputes and litigation matters.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts and transactional documents.

• Advise clients on company law, securities law, IPO compliance, and regulatory matters.

• Handle shareholder agreements, share purchase agreements, joint venture agreements, and business transfer agreements.

• Assist in corporate acquisitions, mergers, and restructuring transactions.

• Conduct legal research and prepare opinions, briefs, and documentation.

• Coordinate with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams while managing multiple matters simultaneously.

• Support litigation teams in corporate and commercial disputes.

Eligibility

Applicants should possess:

• LL.B. degree from a recognised law school.

• Enrolment with the Bar Council of India.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in corporate or transactional law.

• Strong experience in drafting and negotiating commercial agreements.

• Excellent legal research, drafting, client management, and communication skills.

• Ability to independently manage matters and mentor junior lawyers.

• Company Secretary (CS) qualification will be preferred.

• Prior experience in a law firm or corporate legal department is desirable.
