The National Maritime Foundation (NMF) is India's premier maritime think tank, dedicated to research and policy across the full spectrum of maritime affairs and related disciplines.
About the Internship
Applications are open for the Autumn 2026 Internship Programme, offered in two variants:
AUTERN-2026: 3 months (21 September – 18 December 2026)
AUTEX-2026: 6 months (21 September 2026 – 19 March 2027)

Eligibility
The programme is open to:
Graduates
Postgraduates
Doctoral students
Post-doctoral scholars
The following are not eligible:
Candidates currently interning with another organisation.
Undergraduate students (except those covered under specific NMF–institution MoUs).
Stipend
₹10,000 per month for AUTEX-2026 interns, based on performance and at the sole discretion of NMF.
The stipend is paid at the end of each month, commencing January 2027.
Selection Process
Applications must be submitted in the prescribed format.
Shortlisted candidates will be invited for an online or offline interview.
Final selection will be based on interview performance.
Selected candidates will be informed with further joining details.

Clearly specify the internship variant (AUTERN-2026 or AUTEX-2026).
Resubmit their application even if they have previously sent an unsolicited application.
