Organized by Kerala Law Academy Law College

The Kerala Law Academy Law College (KLA), Thiruvananthapuram, in association with its Moot Court Society (MCS) and IQAC KLA, is inviting law students from across India to participate in the 7th KLA National ADR Competition, 2026.
The national-level competition is designed to provide practical exposure to Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) mechanisms, including negotiation, conciliation, mediation, and arbitration.
The provisional registration deadline is August 20, 2026, while the final registration deadline is August 31, 2026.
Kerala Law Academy Law College (KLA) was established in 1966 and is a prominent legal education institution in India. The institution is affiliated with the University of Kerala and approved by the Bar Council of India (BCI).
KLA has contributed to legal education and scholarship and has trained advocates, judicial officers, academics, public administrators, and policy professionals.
The 7th Edition of the KLA National ADR Competition focuses on practical dispute resolution skills through hypothetical legal problems.
The competition is structured around three different ADR stages:
Conciliation – Preliminary Round
Mediation – Semi-Final Round
International Arbitration – Final Round
The competition gives participants an opportunity to apply dispute resolution strategies in simulated legal scenarios and develop skills relevant to contemporary legal practice.
The competition is open to students from:
Law colleges
Law schools
University law departments
Participating institutions must be recognized by the Bar Council of India (BCI).
Students pursuing a 3-year LL.B. programme
Students pursuing a 5-year integrated LL.B. programme
Students pursuing postgraduate law programmes
Students enrolled in correspondence law courses
Multiple teams from the same institution are permitted, subject to official authorization or permission from the institution.
Each participating team must consist of three members:

The KLA National ADR Competition 2026 will be conducted in hybrid mode.

The registration fee is ₹3,250 per team.
