International Client Counselling Competition 3.0, 2026

The Department of Law, Manipal University Jaipur, in association with the Green Horizon Club, is proud to announce the International Client Counselling Competition 3.0, 2026. Designed to test and refine essential lawyering skills, this prestigious competition invites law students from around the globe to demonstrate their ability in fact gathering, client management, legal analysis, and strategic counselling in a hybrid format.

Eligibility Criteria

• Students currently pursuing a 3-year or 5-year integrated LL.B. degree from a recognized university, college, school, or department of law are eligible to participate.

• Students pursuing postgraduate (LL.M.), diploma/certificate, or part-time law programs are not eligible.

• Each institution may register a maximum of 3 teams.

• Each team must comprise exactly 2 members from the same institution.

Event Timeline and Format

The competition will be conducted in a Hybrid Format:

• Preliminary Round (Online): 4th October 2026 (via Google Meet)

• Quarter-Final Round (Offline): 9th October 2026 (at MUJ Campus)

• Semi-Final Round (Offline): 10th October 2026 (at MUJ Campus)

• Final Round (Offline): 10th October 2026 (at MUJ Campus)

Fee Structure & Facilities

• Initial Registration Fee: ₹3,000 per team.

• Advance Round Participation Fee: ₹3,500 per qualifying team (includes accommodation, food, and official participant kits for offline rounds).

Evaluation Parameters

Teams will be evaluated by experienced practitioners and legal academics based on opening and rapport, fact gathering, active listening, issue identification, legal analysis, questioning technique, empathy and client management, advice and strategy, ethics and professionalism, as well as closing and overall effectiveness.

Prizes and Recognition

Certificates and official merchandise will be distributed to participating and winning teams as per the arrangements of the Organising Committee.
