About the Opportunity / Organizer

The School of Law, Woxsen University, approved by the Bar Council of India, is organizing LEX PAX Mediation Competition 2.0 in collaboration with IAMC Hyderabad and IIDRC, with KFCRI as the Knowledge Partner. Woxsen University offers cutting-edge legal education emphasizing innovation, inclusivity, and experiential learning.

Key Responsibilities / Competition Scope

LEX PAX 2.0 is a national virtual mediation competition designed to enable law students to hone and showcase skills in mediation, negotiation, strategic communication, and Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR). The event will be conducted virtually on 9th and 10th October 2026. Participation is capped at 30 teams on a first-come, first-served basis.

Eligibility & Qualifications

• Must be bona fide law students pursuing either a 3-year or 5-year LL.B. degree from institutions recognized by the Bar Council of India (BCI).
• Each team must consist of 3 members: 1 Mediator and 1 Client-Counsel Pair.
• A maximum of 2 teams per institution may register.

Stipend, Perks & Awards

The competition offers cash awards and prestigious internship placements:

• Best Negotiating Pair: ₹25,000
• Runner-Up Negotiating Pair: ₹12,500
• Best Negotiating Pair (Prelims Round): ₹6,000
• Best Mediator: ₹6,000
• Runner-Up Mediator: ₹3,000
• Best Mediator (Prelims Round): ₹2,500
• Internship Opportunities: Offered to eligible participants by IAMC Hyderabad, KFCRI, and IIDRC.

How to Apply / Registration Details

Interested teams can register online through the designated Google Form link before the deadline on 1st October 2026. The registration fee is ₹3,000 per team, which must be paid using the university payment portal.
