About the Job
Krishna & Saurastri Associates LLP is inviting applications for the position of Associate/Senior Associate in its Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) Litigation Practice in Mumbai.
The role involves handling intellectual property litigation and dispute resolution matters as part of a collaborative team working across the firm's offices.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
Hold an LL.B. degree from a three-year or five-year law programme.
Have at least two years of experience in IP litigation at a law firm.
Have experience handling trademark infringement, passing off and copyright infringement cases.
Possess strong legal research, drafting and court appearance skills.
Have above-average academic credentials.
Be fluent in English.
Be able to work effectively as part of a team.
Be enrolled with the Bar Council of India.
Roles and Responsibilities
Selected candidates will be responsible for:
Handling IP litigation and dispute resolution matters as part of a collaborative team across offices.
Conducting legal research and drafting pleadings.
Prosecuting cases and briefing counsel.
Appearing before courts and tribunals.
Drafting legal notices.
Handling ancillary tasks associated with IP litigation.
Travelling across India as required.
