LLM Advocates is offering a specialized virtual internship program focusing on the intersection of law and cutting-edge artificial intelligence. As a Legal AI Analyst (Legal Data Annotation) Intern, candidates will gain hands-on exposure to legal technology, assisting in analyzing and annotating Indian statutes to train advanced legal AI models.
Key Responsibilities
- Legal Annotation: Meet designated weekly targets annotating and analyzing Indian legal statutes with AI tool assistance.
- Statutory Interpretation: Work across a diverse spectrum of statutes, including unfamiliar or unseen provisions, applying rigorous legal reasoning and interpretation.
- Review & Collaboration: Attend scheduled weekly team meetings to review progress, benchmark annotation quality, and discuss assigned tasks.
Eligibility & Qualifications
- Must be a law student currently enrolled in a recognized Indian law school or university.
- Open to students across all academic years pursuing LL.B, BA.LLB, BBA.LLB, BSc.LLB, or LL.M programs.
- Demonstrated foundational understanding of general Indian statutes and legal principles.
- Strong reading comprehension, analytical capabilities, and legal research skills.
- Keen interest in legal technology, AI governance, and modern computational law.
- Effective communication and time-management skills.
- Note: No prior coding, programming, or AI technical knowledge is required.
