Comprehensive Study Plan (UG)

12-Month Month-by-Month Roadmap

Structured in 4 strategic phases to transition you from building foundational reading speed to peak simulated OMR mock testing.

Months 1–4 (Nov 2025 – Feb 2026)Phase 1

Phase 1: Foundation & Reading Stamina

“Building reading stamina, Class 10 arithmetic fluency, and core legal principles.”

Read 1 editorial per day from The Hindu or The Indian Express (aim for 280+ WPM).
Cover core legal basics: Constitution Fundamental Rights, Law of Torts, and Indian Contract Act.
Clear fundamental Class 10 arithmetic topics: Percentages, Ratios, and Averages.
Start reading Lawlit Daily Brief every morning to develop familiarity with Supreme Court benches and judgments.
Attempt 1 diagnostic previous year paper (CLAT 2025/2026) to identify weak spots.
Mock Testing Benchmark:1 mock test every 15 days (focus on accuracy, not speed)
Months 5–8 (Mar 2026 – Jun 2026)Phase 2

Phase 2: Sectional Mastery & Speed Drills

“Passage breakdown speed, GMAT-level Critical Reasoning, and monthly GK compendiums.”

Complete 50+ Critical Reasoning questions weekly (Strengthen/Weaken/Assumption).
Begin monthly GK revision dossiers; compile legal current affairs and international events.
Solve 2 Quantitative caselets daily under a strict 12-minute stopwatch.
Practice timed sectional tests: 25 Legal questions in 25 mins; 24 English questions in 22 mins.
Maintain an 'Error Logbook': record every wrong answer and write the exact logic flaw.
Mock Testing Benchmark:1 full-length mock test every week with 3 hours of detailed post-mock analysis
Months 9–10 (Jul 2026 – Aug 2026)Phase 3

Phase 3: Advanced Testing & Simulation

“Simulating 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM exam conditions, OMR sheet shading speed, and fatigue management.”

Shift all mock tests strictly to 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM to train your circadian rhythm for exam day.
Practice on physical printed OMR sheets with a 0.7mm black ballpoint pen (OMR bubbling takes 8–10 minutes!).
Finalize your personal section sequence (e.g. GK [10m] -> English [26m] -> Legal [35m] -> Logic [25m] -> Quant [12m] -> Buffer [12m]).
Revise all static GK topics connected to last 12 months' headlines.
Mock Testing Benchmark:2 full-length mocks per week with score tracking
Months 11–12 (Sep 2026 – Nov 2026)Phase 4

Phase 4: Peak Revision & Final Sprints

“High-yield revisions, past 5 years' papers, avoiding negative marks, and mental composure.”

Complete 30-day intensive revision of all landmark judgments from 2025 and 2026.
Review the entire Error Logbook from cover to cover.
Eliminate wild guessing: aggressive negative marking (-0.25) can pull your rank down by 500 positions with just 4 bad guesses.
Light revision in final 7 days: review notes, maintain 8 hours of sleep, and organize admit card & ID proofs.
Mock Testing Benchmark:3 mocks per week tapering to 1 mock in final 10 days
