The Moot Court Committee, School of Law, Forensic Justice & Policy Studies at the Uttar Pradesh State Institute of Forensic Science (UPSIFS), Lucknow invites undergraduate law students across India to participate in the prestigious 1st UPSIFS National Moot Court Competition, 2026. UPSIFS is a premier government institution affiliated with the National Forensic Sciences University (NFSU), Gandhinagar, functioning under the aegis of the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India. The institute fosters a unique 'Law-with-Labs' pedagogy that integrates substantive legal doctrines with forensic investigation and cutting-edge criminal justice practices.
The competition focuses on contemporary legal issues involving constitutional law, criminal jurisprudence, and interdisciplinary forensic science. Participants will simulate courtroom proceedings, draft rigorous written memorials, and present nuanced oral advocacy arguments across two stages:
