About the Organizer

The National University of Advanced Legal Studies (NUALS), Kochi, in association with the Competition Commission of India (CCI), is organizing the 2nd edition of the NUALS–CCI National Antitrust Moot Court Competition 2026.

Competition Scope & Format

The competition is focused on contemporary nuances of Antitrust and Competition Law. It will be conducted in a Hybrid Mode:

• Preliminary Rounds & Quarter-Final Rounds: Virtual (October 3–4, 2026)
• Semi-Final Rounds, Final Rounds & Valedictory Ceremony: On-Campus at NUALS, Kochi, Kerala (October 10–11, 2026)

Key Timeline:

• Release of Moot Proposition: September 4, 2026
• Last Date for Seeking Clarifications: September 15, 2026
• Release of Clarifications: September 17, 2026
• Last Date for Registration: September 20, 2026
• Memorial Submission Deadline: September 25, 2026

Eligibility & Qualifications

• Law students enrolled in undergraduate law programs (3-Year or 5-Year LL.B.) eligible to participate in moot court competitions may register as a team.

Stipend, Perks & Awards

The competition boasts a comprehensive cash prize pool:

• Winner: ₹40,000
• Runner-Up: ₹20,000
• Third Position: ₹10,000
• Fourth Position: ₹10,000
• Best Memorial: ₹10,000
• Best Speaker: ₹10,000

Registration Details & Fees

• Stage I Registration Fee: ₹2,500 per team (inclusive of tax)
• Stage II Registration Fee: ₹4,500 per team (inclusive of tax)
• Fees are non-refundable except where decided otherwise by the Organising Committee.
