4th All India Moot Court Competition at Soundarya College of Law, Bengaluru

The Moot Court Society of Soundarya College of Law (SCL), Bengaluru is proud to announce the 4th All India Moot Court Competition, scheduled to take place from October 23 to 24, 2026. Following the grand success of its previous edition, which featured top-tier law colleges and evaluation by sitting High Court judges, the 4th Edition promises to raise the bar of advocacy and competitive excellence.

Eligibility Criteria

• Participants must be currently pursuing a 3-year LL.B. or 5-year integrated law course (B.A. LL.B. / B.Com. LL.B.) from any recognized university.

• Each team must comprise a minimum of two (2) and a maximum of three (3) members (two designated speakers and one researcher).

• Only one team is permitted to register per institution.

Prizes & Awards (Total Pool: INR 95,000)

• Winners: INR 45,000/- and Trophy

• Runners-Up: INR 30,000/- and Trophy

• Best Mooter: INR 5,000/-

• Best Amicus Curiae: INR 5,000/-

• Best Researcher: INR 5,000/-

• Best Memorial: INR 5,000/-

Important Dates & Timeline

• Last Date for Provisional Registration: September 19, 2026

• Last Date for Payment: September 26, 2026

• Confirmation of Registration: September 29, 2026

• Soft Copy Submission (Memorial & Travel Plans): October 19, 2026

• Hard Copy Submission: October 21, 2026

• Inauguration & Preliminary Rounds: October 23, 2026

• Quarter, Semi-Finals, Finals & Valedictory: October 24, 2026

Registration Process

The registration process is divided into three distinct phases:

1. Phase I (Provisional Registration): Interested teams must complete the provisional registration form on or before September 19, 2026. Successful teams will receive a Temporary Team Code.

2. Phase II (Final Registration & Payment): Upon receiving the Temporary Team Code, teams must complete the payment (INR 7,500 or INR 5,500 as applicable) by September 26, 2026 via the designated gateway.

3. Phase III (Permanent Team Code): Verify payment by uploading details in the Final Confirmation Form. Email a soft copy of the registration form and payment receipt to scl.mootcourt@soundaryainstitutions.in to receive your Permanent Team Code.
