The Department of Law, Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Management Studies (MAIMS), NAAC Accredited with Grade A++, is proud to announce the 7th National Moot Court Competition, 2026. This prestigious competition is scheduled to take place across two phases on 30th - 31st October & 20th - 21st November, 2026.
The moot proposition for this edition has been meticulously curated by Dr. Anant Vijay Maria, Advocate-on-Record, Supreme Court of India. It presents a highly contemporary and complex legal battleground involving child protection, intermediary liability, digital evidence, privacy, and constitutional interpretation.
The case revolves around a voluntary relationship between two adolescents with an age gap of less than one year, leading to criminal charges under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, 2012, the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), 2023, and the Information Technology Act, 2000.
