About District Legal Services Authority (DLSA), Jaipur

The District Legal Services Authority (DLSA), Jaipur has been constituted under the Legal Services Authorities Act, 1987, with the objective of ensuring access to justice, particularly for weaker and marginalised sections of society.

Functioning under the supervision of the Rajasthan State Legal Services Authority, DLSA Jaipur provides free legal aid through legal aid clinics, front offices, and paralegal volunteers while promoting legal awareness and access to justice.

About the Event

Jus Novum, meaning "New Law," is a national-level law festival organised by the Moot Court Society, Apex School of Law, Apex University, in collaboration with District Legal Services Authority (District), Jaipur.

Scheduled during August–September 2026, the festival is designed as a premier platform to nurture aspiring legal professionals through a series of academic and skill-based competitions.

The festival is founded on the belief that law is not merely a profession but an instrument for:

• Social transformation

• Justice

• Protection of human dignity

• Rule of law

• Ethical legal leadership

It seeks to cultivate legally aware, socially responsible, and ethically driven future legal professionals.

Eligibility

Hybrid Competitions

Open to students enrolled in:

• 3-Year LL.B.

• 5-Year Integrated LL.B.

• 2-Year LL.M.
