About Lexonic Federation of Law & Leadership

The Lexonic Federation of Law & Leadership is a national youth-led organization dedicated to promoting legal awareness, leadership development, civic engagement, and experiential learning among students across India. Through competitions, conferences, academic initiatives, and training programmes, the organization aims to bridge the gap between legal education and practical exposure while fostering advocacy, research, and leadership skills.

About the Competition

The 1st Lexonic National Moot Court Competition, 2026 is a national-level virtual moot court competition scheduled to be held on 29–30 August 2026. The competition seeks to provide law students with practical exposure to appellate advocacy, memorial drafting, legal research, and oral arguments in a virtual courtroom setting.

Participants will argue a constitutional law proposition dealing with issues relating to unlawful arrest, custodial violence, fair investigation, digital evidence, State accountability, judicial review under Article 32, criminal procedure, and fundamental rights.

The competition will feature two preliminary rounds, followed by the Quarter-Finals, Semi-Finals, and Final Round.

Eligibility

The competition is open to:

  • Students pursuing 3-Year LL.B. programmes

  • Students pursuing 5-Year Integrated LL.B. programmes

  • Students enrolled in recognized postgraduate law programmes (LL.M.)

  • Cross-institutional teams are permitted.

  • There is no limit on the number of teams from a single institution.

Team Composition

  • Two Oralists; or

  • Two Oralists and One Researcher (maximum three members)

Competition Format

  • Preliminary Rounds

  • Quarter-Final Rounds

  • Semi-Final Rounds

  • Final Round

Master Moot Workshop

All registered participants will receive complimentary access to the Master Moot Workshop, organised in collaboration with Beyond the Brief. The workshop will cover:

  • Moot Court Strategy

  • Memorial Drafting

  • Legal Research Techniques

  • Oral Advocacy Skills

  • Courtroom Etiquette

Participants attending the workshop will also receive a separate certificate.

  • Early Bird Registration: ₹999
